How does a Lacoste polo adjustment compared to Ralph Lauren Polo?

I have a small size in a regular cotton mesh Polo Ralph Lauren and fits perfectly. But I want to buy a lacoste polo. Should I buy a small? or Medium, because I heard that is shorter in length?
